Our Impact

"Airing of the Quilts" was a custom where winter quilts were hung out to air in the sun for a day prior to being stored for summer.

At the 3rd Annual Airing of the Quilts on Saturday, March 18, 2023, come and purchase quilts pieced from all over the USA to support various supports in Fort Myers, Florida through Saint Hilary’s Outreach Projects. For more information, contact Saint Hilary’s at 239-936-1000 or by email.

These quilts are a small part of Jo Kramer's Community Quilt Project and her generous and devoted blog readers from all over the country who have created and pieced these quilt tops.

Love to Ukraine

From our 2022 event, $540 was raised from the Ukraine raffle quilt and sent to Ukraine Relief. In partnership with Quilted Twins in Dade City, we were also able to send 26 quilts to Ukrainian refugees.

Hurricane Ian Relief

As we all sought to support our community after Hurricane Ian, we provided 6 quilts to families who had lost everything. And then FK Your Diet put out a call to help foster kids misplaced by the Hurricane, and we provided 108 sherpa blankets, purchased with funds raised at the 2022 event.

Quilts of Valor Presentation

In 2022, at the Welcome Home dinner on Veterans' Day, 13 quilts were presented to veterans. 2 quilts were raffled to event attendees, with one of the quilts going to a veteran who was a guest for the evening. It was a special night honoring those and their families who have made such a sacrifice for our country.
